Optimise your flows to reduce your manufacturing lead times and working capital requirements
In capital-intensive metallurgical plants (France, Sweden), the challenge was to control working capital requirements (WCR) and stabilise complex material flows in an environment with significant energy constraints.
In metallurgical plants, I led optimisation projects based on the Theory of Constraints: identifying bottlenecks in the production line, reorganising logistics flows and operational processes, and supporting local teams through change in a multicultural context.
Management of optimisation projects based on the Theory of Constraints:
A measurable transformation in performance, particularly for one of the sites: a two-week lead time acceleration and a significant decrease in energy consumption per tonne produced.
